Terms of Service

Last updated 5 July 2026

These terms are a contract between you and Vault Maagic. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.

1. The service

Vault Maagic exports selected records from your Salesforce organisation and saves them as CSV files in your own Google Drive on a schedule you choose. To do this you connect your Salesforce and Google accounts using OAuth. Vault Maagic is a service provided by Maagic Apps, owned and operated by Sobek Stelmaczonek.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your login secure, and for all activity under it. Tell us promptly at vault@maagic.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Your data and your responsibilities

You keep all rights in the Salesforce data you back up. By using the service you confirm that you are entitled to access and copy that data and to place it in the Google Drive account you connect, and that doing so does not break any law or agreement that applies to you. You are responsible for choosing which objects to back up and for the security of your own Salesforce and Google accounts.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours;
  • probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or get around its limits, security, or authentication;
  • reverse engineer or resell the service except as the law allows.

5. Third-party services

The service depends on Salesforce and Google, and your use of those products is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for changes they make, for outages on their side, or for API limits they impose. If you revoke our access from Salesforce or Google, backups will stop.

6. Plans and payment

Some features are offered on a free or trial basis and paid plans may be introduced. When paid plans are available, the price, billing cycle, and what each plan includes will be shown before you subscribe. We may change pricing on reasonable notice; changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service reliable but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and we will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Vault Maagic is a backup convenience tool and is not a substitute for your own backup and disaster-recovery strategy. You are responsible for verifying that your backups meet your needs.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Vault Maagic will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period or GBP 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Vault Maagic against claims and costs arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms or of rights you owe to others in the data you back up.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or other users. Your CSV files remain in your Google Drive after termination; data we hold is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you through the service or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
